We’re a growing marketing agency seeking a Web Designer to take on jobs on a project basis with the possibility of a full-time position.
**Must be in the Guelph and Surrounding Area to apply**
We are looking for an energetic and proactive individual who can work as part of our team, and independently when required.
Skills Needed:
– Proficiency in Graphic Design and layout engagement for websites
– Must have proven experience developing in both WordPress and Shopify
– Ability to conduct server administration/maintenance
– HTML/CSS/Javascript
– Candidate must have a working understanding of SEO application, Google Analytics and Webmaster tools
– Is well-versed in cross-browser platform compatibility and testing
– Able to work with tight deadlines
– Have thorough knowledge and interest in website trends and be up to date with latest software
– Must demonstrate ability to create cosmetically pleasing site interfaces.
– Must demonstrate ability to solve technical issues on websites created by someone else.
– Must be proactive and resourceful
– Has a good ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Good time management and punctuality
Required Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent College Diploma
Required Experience:
– 2-5 years of web design/development experience
Employment Experience:
– Working at an Advertising Agency: 2 years
– Designing and developing front-end in WordPress: 2 years
– Primarily skilled Graphic Designer: 2 years
Pay will be commensurate with experience.
